heater core
south went south and now im trin to replace it. i pulled off the cover. and pulled out all the screws i can see. but the darn thing wont come off. its like there are screws on the inside or sumpthing holding it on just below where it feeds in from the cowl. anone got any ideas. sorry its to dark for the pictures to turn out good enough to see it.-

There are two studs that come through the firewall, with nuts inside the cab.
If you still have the OEM insulation and mat, these nuts will be recessed in holes in the mat. I had the same problem, I ended up pulling out the glovebox in order to see what was going on. The original nuts are the stamped sheetmetal sort. |

sweet did not know that. when i looked i could't see those until i moved the insulation around thaks for the help
