New hd truck bs compared to ours

I found a set of 18" rims for my crew cab that came off a newer Hd truck (stock 4wd) and wondered if they would fit my 2wd truck? I know the stock hd rims work fine but the new rims are 8.5 wide and the stock are only 6.5". The owner is going to measure them but thought I would check here too.

The tires on the truck now are pretty much dry rot and unsafe so I figured I'd buy a set of used tires and run them for now since I have to get the truck roadworthy by 3/1. Here are the wheels I found for $300

Re: New hd truck bs compared to ours

If those are the 18" 8 lug Eagle 114's they are 9.5" wide and have right at 6" of backspace. If new stock wheels fit these older trucks fine, then I would think these will too. I'm not sure what may be of concern.

These also won't stick out of the fenderwell much, if any.

I had a set on my 02 Chevy. If you don't want them. Let me know where they are for $300. I'd like another set.

I guess my concern is the newer stock wheel fitting only because it's 6.5" wide, these are 2" wider and are going on a lowered 2wd. I think if they are are 6" bs they arent going to work, I think these trucks (2wd at least) need 5 or less

Re: New hd truck bs compared to ours

they will fit inside the fenders and not rub... they are tucking insode the fenders more but the rim is alot larger then the stock one so it wont have any control arm clearance issues... i would but them if i had 8 lug axles...
