Any Southeast Missouri region members?
I am trying to find out what happened to Smitty at S & S Truck Parts in Fruitland, MO. He told me he was going to sell out and retire but I can't get ahold of him. Wanted to buy stuff from him but wanted to know if you all knew him....

I have bought several things from Smitty. He told me that he would be out of business after the first of the year. I later heard that the person that was supposed to buy him out couldn't come up with the ole cashola. I have tried to call him too, but no response. By the way, I am over in Bloomfield.

I have been wanting to stop by there (Mom and Brother in St. Louis)
but never got around to it. How far off the beaten path is his store?

I just got off the phone with my son and he said that he heard from Smitty today.
Smitty is getting ready to make a big sheet metal order. He and my son will be at the swap meet in Cape Girardeau on the 15th of next month. I am going to try and go to check things out since I have never been. Danny
