OK...Let's start with what kind of vehicle you are working on. Your sig. says '74 C30 but that would have a mechanical fuel pump sooo... You very well may have a short circuit to ground and I would def. check in the area you were working but it could also be coincidence. If you dont find anything near where you were working, try unplugging the fuel pump (if you can get to it) and then see if the fuse blows.
