Bumps outs
What have you guys that have converted two wheel drives to four wheel drives done with the "bump outs" on the 2wd frame where the e-brake cable goes? This is where the shackle hanger wants to go. If anybody has any pics of there conversion I would love to see them!
Thanks Chad |

Re: Bumps outs
I moved my shackle back with longer springs (52") and left them. Plenty of pictures in my threads.

Re: Bumps outs
Heated them up, sandwiched between 2 inch thick plates with a big bolt through run down with an impact, then finished with a hammer. Small 1/4" plate on the outside for a little strength and to cover up the wrinkle. No pics now. but maybe on the weekend if I get time.

Re: Bumps outs
Heat them up and flaten them, or run 52s and then the spring will land behind them.
