Some ideas about my paint scheme!!
Don't make too much fun of my paintshop chops, but here are some ideas that I have been working on. I will be using Hot Rod Flatz black and sublime. I am pretty set on those colors but I am not sure which way to go. I like the black on sublime and my Wife likes the sublime on black. Tell me what you think.
My Choice: Her Choice:

Re: Some ideas about my paint scheme!!
I'd have to vote for black, the sublime as the main color is way too loud for me plus with it being a Mopar color I'd stick with it as an accent

Re: Some ideas about my paint scheme!!
Softball: My vote is with youe wife, but I think I would move the sublime forward so you could write just "MARINES" in the large part of the flag. Just my 2 cents. Seeing yours may just have sealed the color in my mind for the pinstriping I want to do on my truck. I'm not a fan of lime, but on black it really pops. Pics of my truck are in here if you want a look. I think on page 2 under finally finished thread. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose. |

Re: Some ideas about my paint scheme!!
I think I would do a rendering with the truck in black like the bottom pic , but with the USMC worked into a stripe that runs the lenght of the truck . Keep it above the body line . I would use a Yenko Camaro stripe as a base and modify it a little . As for what is already there , I like the second one .

Re: Some ideas about my paint scheme!!
I think since you are looking to be bold you should put the marines signature call on it . Put the USMC on it in Bold block letters and Oorah in a contrasting design . Im not in the military but I have always thought that that was a neat call .
