Re: Stock ride height question

I see what you mean now, that's the way they did it to stock trucks to check it.
My problem is that mine was lowered when I bought it and it's too low for my tastes. All 4 of the bumpstops touch now, which I don't want. So I need to get a new lowering kit but since I don't know how much it was lowered I don't know what amount of drop I'd need to get.
My truck came with G78/15's which were about 28" OD but mine has 30" OD tires on it, so right off the bat if I knew the OEM ride height I'd have to adjust for my taller tires. (Although that wouldn't be too hard.) Do you happen to know what the stock measurements were for a '76 C10 1/2 ton 2WD?

thanks
