3 piece roll pan or sport bumper
A few months ago i saw a picture of a squarebody with a really nice rollpan on it. It had 2 pieces that had to be welded on to the sides to make it look like the sides. if anyone can post pics of this rollpan and if possible give me some opinions on it and a website to order it from.
If i go the other route of doing the sport bumper what do you guys think about the sport bumper without the inside brackets? i will put the bolts but they will "dummy" bolts anf serve no purpose, my reason for not putting the center brackets is because my airtank is mounted back there. |

Re: 3 piece roll pan or sport bumper
Heres a pic of one installed. I thought about getting one but ended up likeing the look of the sport bumper. Mounting a sport bumper without modifing the brackets will give you a good size gap inbetween the bumper and tailgate.

Re: 3 piece roll pan or sport bumper
I think copperchevy is talking about shortening the brackets to bring the bumper closer to the bed. The factory installed sport bumpers have a gap between the bumper and the bed. I've seen some truck were they move both front and rear closer to the body.

Re: 3 piece roll pan or sport bumper
I ordered some lmc inner brackets and made another set of holes on them so it would tuck the bumper closer in. Didn't use ant outers. And no my tailgate doesn't open, but i never open it anyways.
