I have never seen them repop'd. I wish they supported the big trucks more with the repop stuff.

Would 73+ springs fit? Seems like they're the same size since the x-member is almost the same.

Re: need front springs for my c30, 157" wb with a big block

I'm going to buy '81 - up C-30 diesel springs to raise the front my '67 C-30. It already sat fairly with the 292, but the diesel dropped even more. I checked and they will fit. If they get me too high, I'll just cut a round or two off. I priced them at Advance for around $110 for Moog springs. Thery carry McQuay-Norris springs for like $85, but I've never heard of them, and I know Moog makes good stuff. I would think '73 - '87 454 C-30 springs would be very comparable to what your came with.

I'm putting a 6.2L diesel which is what came in the '82 - '87 trucks. I'll have to check on the part number for you. If you're going with a tall deck, you may want to go with the same springs because they are heavier than a normal BBC as are the 6.2L's.

Early crew cab dooley big block springs were GM part number 328101 if I remember correctly. Try that for a cross reference, I doubt Chevy still lists that number though.

Fellas, 73-87 front springs directly interchange into the earlier trucks. Just tell the pimple faced parts kid at O Reilly to order you a set of springs for an 87 dually with a big block.
