Where can I get this part?
Please see the attached picture, the part in question is the piece of metal where the AC ducts are installed.
I've many trucks with them but haven't seen them for sale, if it's custom, how is it made? Tri5 |

Re: Where can I get this part?
I rather believe that one of the goodie vendors may be selling it an or it may be part of an ac kit.
I'd suggest checking the article on the truck in the photo and see if it tells what brand of ac it has in it and the check their website. Other than that it is probably going to take a search of online catalogs. |

Re: Where can I get this part?
It looks to me like it might just be a sheet metal brake shape, I am doing to do the same for mine, the Vintage Air diffuser box and outlets look pretty cheesie. My plan is to have a sheetmetal shop bend a U shape, top bolts to bottom of the dash, bottom has a finished lip. Then just cut in the holes for the vents. Looking close the top has a bead roll and maybe a rolled top edge. The rolled edge can be formed over a piece of pipe, or a good sheet metal shop should have a die for their press. I bet if you can find it on line it will be pricey!
