Completed: 79 K10
Thought I'd post a few pics of my LB at the end of the resto project. I will probably Clearbra the face of the hood for obvious reasons, but other than that, it's done. Going to start on my Shortbed next in a couple of months after the wallet recovers. Specs: 350/SM465/NP205, factory buckets, factory tach, painted in the original Cardinal Red color.

Re: Completed: 79 K10
The trim was already on the truck when I bought it. I *suspect* it's the aftermarket Corvex stuff. Although it's not as stout as OE stuff, it holds up pretty decent. I've had the Corvex stuff on my shortbed for almost 9 years and it wears pretty decent.

Re: Completed: 79 K10
Tito,
The guard was already on there, so I don't know what brand it is. Thanks for the compliments everybody. I must have done something right when N2Trux and Frank Monroe says it's decent. I'll have the truck out Tuesday for a bit and will try to snap a few more pics. I know the running boards give it a Grandpa truck look, but they're essential for the gravel roads I run when going to my hunting/atv riding spot. I learned this the hard way with my other truck. |
