Post factory aluminum wheels ?

truck i looked at the other day has those aluminum wheels with the round holes around the outside diamter and has stock factory rally bowtie caps on them, are these factory aluminums ? What years were these used ?

If they look like this, they were factory and the first year availible was 1980

Yeap, thats them. I always wondered about them, hmm.. Dont see them very often, and I saw some on a pickup that got hauled off to impound today, and will probably end up in shredder..... Maybe I should have tried sooner to find out why the truck was sitting on side of road....

Randy, Hollanders shows those rims available from 1979-1991. They are 15X7 and were an option for blazers/suburbans/trucks. I tend to see them on Blazers and Suburbans more than I do on trucks. They run about $350/ea at the dealership.

I had an 82 with those wheels. Adds a touch of class I think. I've seen some aftermarket wheels almost identical to the originals and in wider widths too but for the life of me I can't remember the brand. Alcoa comes to mind.? Boog.
