Frame Swap
A friend of mine wanted to get one of my 3/4 frames for a frame swap on his truck. His truck is a 1970 c10. Will the whole front carriage from 1/2 Ton (cross member and all) bolt up to a 3/4 ton frame ?Bolt holes Line up? also the whole rear end (both trailing arm style frames.)?

Re: Frame Swap
I just installed 1/2 ton suspention on my 3/4 ton burb... did the whole front crossmember. Fairly easy.
The frames are the exact same except the rear cab mounts, and some added braces here and there. |

Re: Frame Swap
yep. I used a crossmember off a 72 though. If it is a 73 and up piece, there will be some holes needing 'wallered' out
