Triangulated 4-bar Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am beginning to set up my triangulated 4-bar. I built a bracket to mount the upper bars on the front of my 12 bolt rearend. I was trying to maximze the angle, I think I am about 38-40 degrees as it is right now. Can some of you that have setup one of these check my post and tell me if you think this will work out?

Looks like you got plenty of angle on the setup. I like the axle mount as well, pretty creative way, just be sure that its thick enough it won't be able to bend backwards since its just the plate. Looks beefy enough for me, but figured I'd throw that out there just something to think about.

Thanx for the replies. It is 1/4" plate, so I don't think it could bend. I may weld some trusses on the back. I will have to see once I get it a little more complete. I am also trying to decide what I am going to do for the cover: stock steel, aluminum, or make something.
