Re: transmission cooler
My factory cooler uses both the radiator and the auxiliary cooler.

Re: transmission cooler
so your transmission run's threw the cooler and the radiator. dose it matter what one first. is there a certain way the line's are supposed to run. for exsample the top line on the trans where dose it run to and where dose the bottom line run.

Re: transmission cooler
I cant answer how the hose routing is but i do know the tranny fluid goes through the tranny cooler and the radiator, so it gets cooled 2 times.

Re: transmission cooler
this is how i hooked it up today, i did some googleing last night and came across a post that some one describe how to run the line's.........
. .the bottom tranmission line on the transmission go's to the to on the raidator. . .i disconected the bottom line on the radiator, witch is the top transmission line on the tranny. the transmission cooler came with a nipple fitting i screwed that fitting into the bottom hole on the raidator. witch i then hooked a hose to and ran it to the bottom on the transmission cooler. then i hooked a hose to the top of the cooler and ran it to the bottom line that i disconected from the radiator that is the top tranny line on the transmission. .................i hope this is right i don't no for sure if it matter's or not i was just going to hook the tranny straight to the cooler but was told that it still need's to run threw the raidator. so this is how i hooked mine up today............ |
