task force questions

Is anyone running a lokar or gennie shifter. How do you like it? Also what size electric fans are being used and do you have any pics.

What size shifter (how tall) is it, tranny or floor mount, got any pics. I'm looking at a 23" goose neck and trying to an idea on hight

Mines a 23"tranny mount. Theres a photo of it in my biuld thread if you want to see it. It's down closer to the bottom. There's one pix of it with a 4 speed and one later with the 700r4 shifter.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=324188

with your 4wd has it ever jumped out of gear and do you need to push the button to shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd

jumped out of gear? Are you talking about the transmission or the t case? Reguardless, no neither have came out of gear.

you can go from drive to over drive with out pushing the button, and from first to second with out pushing the button. I'm not to sure on the second to drive, i dont know why you would have to push it but for some reason i think you do. Anyways, next time i drive it i'll try to remember to pay attention.
