rear end interchange?
A buddy of mine has a great built 10 bolt outa 83 body its got an eaton posi and 3.42 gears.Told me I could have it but will it fin in a 93 model? I plan on flipping the rear end anyways on my truck but dont know about width or perches as far as it bolting up.I would measure them both but we live 300 miles away from each other.Anyone ever done a swap like this?

The 83 is much narrower. I don't know how "exactly" how much, but it will not be a direct bolt in.

Well that might be a good thing then huh wider tires mmmmm guess I will have to get some measuirng sticks.Cutting torch and the welder will come in handy too.Kinda hard to pass on the price just gota make a road trip from Dallas to Houston.
