Have you thought about moving to a TH700R4 or a low gear set for your TH350? Even easier would be an SM420 or 465 granny unless you have to have the auto. The manual trans are significantly shorter than the autos as well. With the 465 you could probably run the 203 doubler and not increase length. Right now you have 2.52*1.96*4.56 or 22.57 craw ratio overall first, and the 3.08 first gear of the TH700 would give you a 3.08*1.96*4.56 or 27.52 while the TH350 and a 3:1 2.52*3.0*4.56 is only 34.47. The OD trans gets you half way there at least AND an overdrive. Then you can go to 4.88 or 5.13. With the 88's and the 700, you have 3.08*1.96*4.88 or 29.45 overall first. The 5.13 are 30.96, not enough gain for the trouble IMO.

But for comparison, my Jimmy with the 465/205/4.10 is 52.56. And the SM 420 has a 7.05 first gear compared to the 465s 6.54.
