No Fuel...????
I got the beast to crank today....as long as I was spraying starter fluid into the carb. Im using a 64 tank. Not sure if it is different from the stock but the metal fuel line comes out the top and then exists the cab near the bottom of the tank. I put in 2 gal of fresh gas....its been about 4 years since the truck was run. I removed the hoses from the fuel pump and from the metal fuel line under the bottom of the truck and not a drop.
Could this be plugged.... Any ideas on what I need to do to clean it up to it holds gas and will allow gas to be pumped to the engine? I sounded good with the pipes uncapped!

Re: No Fuel...????
Check your sending unit inside the gas tank. The inside of my gas tank was all rusted and the sending unit was clogged with junk. After I replaced those two my truck run fine.

Re: No Fuel...????
You have gotten some good advise. Try adding more fuel, at least another 5 gallons.
If that doesn't help, remove the sending unit on the tank. When I replaced mine, it was rusted and almost plugged. If it still isn't getting fuel, check your fuel pump. It may need replacing, they get weak or just wear out. I have had one on a work truck (toyota), just plain fall apart.
