got my 5speed done today...
I've started a rebuild on my truck this month i just added a T5, i realize its not built for strengh but this truck isnt run hard anyway..everything bolted up pretty simple just a few slight mods to make it work, i drove about 5 mile today to make sure everything was gonna work out........shifted very well

Glad to hear it's on the road. Did you do a thread on the install? I have a 5 speed from an '88 full size truck I'm going to put in the Blue '67... LockDoc

nah i was going to, but i never got around to takin pix, a 5speed is the only way to go, i plan on taking my truck to the beach this summer....Im really wanting to get it out and ride it this summer, the motor is 2 years old and has 924miles on it...

Ha, That sounds like me and my Harley. I bought it new in '78, had it 10 years and put 6000 miles on it.... Good luck with the beach crusin'. LockDoc

Yes it is, I bought it off of craigslist for $125 and he guaranteed it. If it doesn't work to my satisfaction I can take it back and get my money back. It doesn't matter how long before I get it installed as long as I let him know when I do.
