Post any body know what year this is, worth?

its got some rust, not much though, needs a new gas tank or leak repair on old one, needs new bed wood, and a new right rear tire (or just air) im thinking about buying it, they said that six was rebuilt about 5 years ago, just been sititng for 4, casue of the gas leak.... jeeze, how lazy

I think it's a 60 but not sure. The unique hood is what gives it away, they only made em like that for maybe one year at the beginning of the 60-66 body styles. I'm sure someone else here knows for sure. I would think it's worth somewhere between $500 and $1000 depending on how well it runs and how rusted is is and where.

That hood was used in 60 and 61. By the grille (Chevrolet in the center of the grille)it is a 61. Another way to tell is the clutch and brake pedal location. The 61 model pedals hang under the dash. On the 60 model the brake and clutch pedals come out of the floor. If you don't like the hood you can replace it with a hood from a 62-66. Like most trucks it is worth what you are willing to pay. My Hollanders CD does not go back to 61 but I would bet a fuel tank from a 60-66 would work if you can't get the current one fixed.
