Mine's not a truck, but has 48K on it. 400 Hp, 6 speed, 20 MPG and holds a baby seat. Perfect tradeoff for me. Now I need a truck.....

Re: How long as your hot rod lasted?

Mine's not a truck either, '69 Charger. I've had it for 9 years now, completely restored it around 3 years ago. 440 pushing 550 HP, I've found the more time and money I put into it the more hesitant I am to drive it on crappy days or in traffic in the middle of town. I'll never sell it though.

I have plans to go through my '85 swb this summer. I've had it for over 10 years, my first vehicle. I will never sell it no matter what either, too sentimental.

Re: How long as your hot rod lasted?

I've put over 100,000 miles on the 440 in my '68 Charger since I rebuilt it years ago....some of those with spray.

Dream truck??? I like too may to have just one....haha. I sold my hotrod last year, a real, hotrod '31 Model A pickup.....but I did keep the hot, traditional SBC for a future project. And the '80 SWB I built as my "dream" truck I sold to build other stuff.....I have a hard time keeping some things I guess...haha!
