Re: What do you guys think of this...
Arnott has indeed been around for along time. We used there parts at a shop I worked at several times. Mostly replacement air struts and bags for lincolns and a couple other cars. I would be interested to hear as well how the install goes.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
$815 sounds like a whole lot of money for no more than you get (one small compressor - one small tank - off-brand valves) ... just my take on it.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
its a 5 gallon tank, vair compressor, valves ,dryer, and DIGITAL CONTROLLER, air lines, and filter, all pre mounted so you don't have a rats nest of wires/airlines running everywhere. For me it was a deal.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
That's why I'm willing to take a chance on this...Just the viair 5 gallon tank and 480C compressor are worth about $350. The dryer is $50, lines are at least $50 in a normal setup, fittings around $100 in a normal setup, Valve blocks are normally $450-800, then you add a digital controller for a minimum of 400 up to 1200 and we're talking about a setup that costs a minimum of 1400 and up to 2500 (for ride height presets/leveling). I like the fact that I can check tank pressure and each bag pressure with this digitally. You'd need three gauges to do that on a std system and I don't want all those gauges.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
I have the Arnott 8-Port Valve Block on my truck and it works great. The first Valve Block I got from Arnott had problems with valve 1. I contacted them and did some troubleshooting over the phone. It was a bad valve. They send me a new 8-Port Valve Block the next day with a return shipping lab for the bad Valve Block. I would say there customer service is Great.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
got the ARNOTT sytem in yesterday and its a very quality kit. It came with MORE than they show in the pic. All fittings needed on tank, remote fiter w/hose and spare filter elements, and a complete wiring harness that is very simple to hookup. if any one wants more specific pics let me know.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
almost done on the install, the kit is very easy to install, just the four bag lines and the tank line, and a power and remote line to hook up.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
Thanks for the updates...will definitely be interested in your first hand experience with the functionality of this....looks good right now.
One thing I am interested in is if it makes sense to upgrade to the next kit up for less run time on the compressor. Let me know how quickly things fill up once you fill up and approximate raise and lower time if you don't mind. I am looking for a smooth, controlled raise/drop and think this will be the ticket.

Subscribed. I have watched this item for some time on ebay but have had to put my truck on the back burner for a while.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
well, i would be finished but i did have a couple problems, i was experiencing some bleed across on the block. they(arnott) sent me a shipping tab to send the block back and added four more valves to make it an eight valve system, all FOR FREE just to make it right. they think the reason i had a problem was the differance in pressure. front is 130psi and the rear is 30psi. the wieght of my bigblock might have added to this. whatever the problem was i will be getting the valve block back mon. or tues. and i also ordered a 145/175 pressure switch from SD to make it rise a little faster. Arnotts customer service is second to none. i should have a video to post next week.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
got it all installed. i would def upgrade to the 8(the one without the dryer) valve block if you order this kit. it works good , but one thing i found out is that the truck has to be running for it to preform the best, so that its getting full voltage at all times. its not the quickest system, but it improved alot by putting the 145/175 switch in. i also put in a check valve ($25) inline before the block to keep air from going back into the tank when the tank pressure is lower than the bag pressure.

Re: What do you guys think of this...
Do they recommend to add a dryer since the block comes w/out one?

The 62 Buick i have came with an Arnott air system with a 3 gallon tank, one comp., and a digital controller. I think its a damn good deal for the money.
