Trial fit "Bed Wood"
This is a trial fit. I had to modify for the wider inner fenders. I also cut divets in the bottum side of the wood where the bolt heads are that hold the bed to the frame. I need to cut and router a hole for the billet fuel filler lid. Then finish the wood. Truck is almost ready to drive.

Re: Trial fit "Bed Wood"
Nice job there. A graphite colored stain would just make it look great, but that's only if you ask me. What stain are you planning on using (if any) ?
I personally would cringe at the thought of putting anything in that bed, it looks nice the way it sits !

Re: Trial fit "Bed Wood"
I wish my 67 would have had the wood floor , it's the only thing I don't like about the truck , next year if I am still working (THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT VA , WV , & KY DOWN RIGHT NOW OBAMA IS DEAD AGAINST COAL)
I would like to bite the bullit and buy all new support's and new oak wood plank's and put in my 67 , I hate the metal floor they should not have put metal floor's in chevy truck's till they stopped making our's in 73

Re: Trial fit "Bed Wood"
Still working. Now I have to position the wood where I want it and mark my bedside and fender holes so I can drill them up. At that point I will finish the wood. All my bolts and the billet fuel door will be painted the same color as the strip's. Oh so close!!!!!!
