From my experience with ART arms the LCA moves the bj forward in relation to the truck for more caster and the bj is reangled a bit to work better.
and the UCA is slightly longer and the bj is reangled as well to not bind. Basically I've had success at being able to lay the front crossmember about .5" from the LCA bushings(lays full frame with a z) on a 31" tires with 3" spindles and achieve around 12" of lift with firestones. Slams should give more lift but I can't say for sure since I dont know where the upper bj will bind. camber was around -5degrees as well. and Im not sure how low stock arms will get you with the 3" spindles but Im real sure if you do get them to get you to go as low as that camber will be bad and caster at ride height will be horrible. you can step the lower arms and I've seen people flip and swap the uppers to fix the bj angles and such, but you'll never get the handling characteristics out of stock arms that tube arms have. my.02 -Dustin |
