That's a bummer deal man. Happens sometimes though, doesn't make it any better though. A man's word doesn't mean as much as it used to for some people. Just be patient, and you will find one.

Hey guys, still looking for a truck. I found this one and wanted to run it buy you guys and get your opinion. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/1164335261.html He says it has a spun bearing.... what is that and is it hard to fix??? Again, I am totally foreign to these trucks so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

Re: New chevy guy. The big decision

hey joe, while that truck may be worth the asking price.there's more "depends" then at the old folks home.if there's no rust it may be worth bartering on.i don't think i'd pay 2k for something that isn't running.especially if you need a runner.a motor swap isn't that big a deal and can be done fairly cheap or it can get expensive in a hurry.one thing to remember on a truck like the craiglister there.it's a very good chance that that truck has been driven hard.i'd try to look at unmolested stockers from older owners.their out there if your not in a hurry.

Re: New chevy guy. The big decision

haha! Thanks boatpuller. I was actually feeling the same way too. I just didnt know if i was being too picky. I would prefer more of an original truck. Yeah I'll keep looking. I can find alot!! of long beds, but i'm really feeling the short beds. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to start a build thread! haha
