Whats the most you have ever hauled?
So yesterday I went to the dump to get rid of the load of concrete I had in my truck from the bathroom remodel we have been doing. I was surprised to find out that I had 4952 LBS in the back. It hauled it with little difficulty. I was impressed, but wanted to know what other people have hauled.
My truck is a 1966 C-10 LWB stock suspension. |

Re: Whats the most you have ever hauled?
When I took over my '62 from my brother, I retired it from hard work...
When it was his, he used it for almost 20 years doing concrete construction. He would haul a Bobcat tractor on a trailer daily plus, a load of steel stakes, forms and tools in the bed... I'm not sure how it performed, but it survived...

Re: Whats the most you have ever hauled?
You know thats a real good question...I have been asking my self the same question. Apparently the contractor that built this house decided the only way to hang tile in a bathroom. There was 1 inch of concrete behind all the tile. This was the biggest pain in the butt project. but 2 and 1/2 ton of anything in the back of a 1/2 ton chevy is awesome!
