Drivers Side Battery Tray
I was going through a pile of leftover parts from my 71 c-20 build and came across a drivers side battery tray, was there a two battery option on these trucks or was this an add on? I replaced my pass side batt tray because it was in sorry shape. This drivers side tray looks OEM, it was in good shape so I sandblasted and painted it, but I didnt put it back in, If its OEM is it worth anything?

Re: Drivers Side Battery Tray
Was your C20 a camper? If it was maybe that extra battery was used to power the camper accesories.

Re: Drivers Side Battery Tray
Thats exactly what my truck was used for, it had the super heavy duty leaf springs (they are gone now) and the brackets mounted to the front of the bed fpr the camper, the old fella that had it hardly ever took it out of the bed.

If it's a nice original auxiliary battery tray it should be worth a few bucks. Put it on craigslist or become a subscribing member on here and sell it on the parts forum. LockDoc
