Howdy all! Located a couple hours of north of Sacramento, this is what brought me here-

Re: Hello from Northern California
Lots of plans... lol. Big block, reinforced frame, rear subframe/ifs & bags. I'm concerned about the rust, I may just leave the body as is if it's too bad to fix. It all appears to be surface rust though, I haven't found any rot yet, it's pretty solid. It's been sitting on the hubs for as long as I can remember, but I like the 8 lug setup, I may try to keep that. That means it's a 3/4 ton truck? This place looks to be a good source of info, glad I found this place.

What is up with the one behind it with the stack? on the side? And what is that to the left of it?

Re: Hello from Northern California
thanks for all the welcomes.
There's a bunch of model t's & parts/partial bodies for model t's on the property. The one to the side in that picture is a 4 door w/ some sort of convertible top. He's got a couple of 6x6/dual rear axle t's, this one is a dump bed. The owner of the property is only keeping one of the model t's, a 2 door + rumble seat he wants to build on. He said he wants to get everything else together and possibly trade the lot for a buildable '70 Challenger or something. Pics from getting it out of the dirt today... should probably start a build thread here pretty soon. |

Re: Hello from Northern California
Nice...You don't see things like that on properties around here where I live. The towns, cities, and counties all have abandoned vehicle codes, if it's older than 4 years old it has to run or they tow it away at your expense! It sucks!
