Who was doing chrome ?
Wasnt someone on the board talking abut doing some chrome work a few months back. I have an eaton rear cover I'd like to get done. The local shop wants a VERY large amount to do it. Too much in fact. Anyone know what I'm talking about ?

If you're talking about EFS plating by the Bremerton airport, they are pricy. $300 to rechrome my custom bumper, but it looks great.

Mixed among these posts is some discussion on chrome shops. Basically, what I found was that every chrome shop I contacted was trying to make their monthly sales quota on ME.
Good luck and let us know if you find some place that's affordable. Kenneth

It was EFS in Bremerton. They charged $200 for the glovebox chroming I just did. Its a good job but they didnt inform me that the door had a small pressure dent in it. Not a huge deal as I was going to paint the inside black anyway but I would have liked to have known about it before they were completely finished . I'm not sure I'll have them do any more work unless I specifically inform them to let me know about any defects in the piece.
The guy who was having chroming done hasnt contacted me. I wonder if that deal fell though. Anyone have anything done though him?
