Diagram needed!
Hi,
I just bought a really cool poly tank for my 71 blazer from GMCPauls. When I opened the box, I was amazed to see 4 pipes from it. I figured 3 -- engine feed, fuel fill, and fill vent. Does anyone have a diagram that they could post showing how this should all be layed out? Let's just say the existing setup is ... well, jury-rigged is the most polite way of putting it. Thanks for your help, Brian |

Depending on tank/fuel pump.....
Fill Fill Vent Fuel pump Feed Fuel pump return (if your fuel pump uses one) #4 can be used as a second vent..... My old one had 6.....it was a 50 gal. tank Fill 2 fill vents (due to size) no feed, as mine was built into sending unit Retun and a go between cell one and cell two (it was u shapped to go around a frame rail......yes it was all one big tank, but you couldn't fill the top 1/4 of the tank without the gobetween...expessially if you were on a slight incline....

4th is for the carbon cannister vent line used on EEC (Evaporative Emmisions Control )equipped trucks. For faster fill ups and proper venting use them all, if you do not have any EEC components use all as vents even if you tie all into the same place for venting.
