painting master cylinder troubles
I used some of that cast finish paint for the m. cyl. but it starting to rust,what did I do wrong or is it just life.Is there a better paint out there? Can,t afford a polished one yet

was a new master cly and I cleaned it but I didn,t use any primer

I have never heard of that type paint, but I think you skipped an important step by leaving out the primer. Primer acts as the bonding agent that holds the paint to any given surface.

Brake fluid will take off any paint or primer. And it will always leak from the lid.
