Looks awsome. You have really got a nice solid cab. Hope mine turns out that nice but I have a ton of rust to deal with first.

Re: 53 gmc interior work
Nice man,
I've been dreaming about the day I get to deck out my interior. I'm going with a charcoal, light gray two-tone effect with purple accents (gauges, piping, embroidery) Thanks for the inspiration! Keep up the good work, and of course, post as many pics as you can. |

Re: 53 gmc interior work
Hey Milo,
What kind of steering column is that you have? I have an old steering wheel from a 49-50 Chevy Deluxe that I wanted to use but I'm not sure if the spline will fit. I've been told my column is from a 1980's Camaro. How interchangeable are these old and newer Chevy parts? |

Re: 53 gmc interior work
honestly im not sure i think my column is out of a 57... as far as i know so long as you stay with your manufacture not much changes so most wheels fit and i think most chevys are 11/16" x 36 spline. would need to double check mine to see if its the same
