complete factory A/c
Pulled the factory A/C out of my Blazer today. Going for a smooth firewall, and aftermarket air. Here is what I know. I hooked my Blazer up to my a/c machine at work, and it would not hold a vacuum. The system was empty when started to check the system out. Put a lb of r134 in it to see what would happen. The compressor is junk ( would not pump) and every fitting I touched was not tight. When I removed the system today I found an evaporator core with no oily stain at the bottom, a know good heater core, and all of the other stuff is there. a PM will get you a picture with an email addy. Make me an offer, as I do not know what all this stuff is worth. The control head goes with it, but the vacuum switch has a leak. Been told I need a price for this stuff to keep me out of trouble. $200.00 ????
