Factory v6
Has anyone ever heard of factory v6 in a 67 or 68 truck. A guy told his neighbor had a 67 or 68 with factory v6 for sale, I didn't it sound right but I don't know.

Re: Factory v6
gmc could have straight sixes in our body style trucks as well.
it is most likely the 305 V6, but the 351 was an option. lots of good info here: http://www.6066gmcguy.org/gmcv6a.htm

Re: Factory v6
mine had a 305 v6 stock, but it spun a bearing. Me and my dad found a 351 v6 and dropped it in 15 years ago, but it spun a bearing so now it has a 350 small block. These motors were great for low rpm torque, they had about the same as a big block. They were bullet proof as long as you kept the rpms down, if not they spun bearings. Also they were real heavy.
