My '77 Cheyenne Blazer has those EXACT wheels on it. They are 15x8.5 and marked "1976" on the back. Could they have been factory or dealer installed? The option sheet is gone from the glove box.

Just so you know those were not "factory" installed wheels. They were a common dealer add on item.

I can't remember who made them, but I had two friends that had them on Jeep CJ's in high school. They were called Western's but I don't recall who made them. I have a friend who probably knows if Google doesn't help.

They weren't "called" Westerns, they "are" Western Wheels Hurricane II. They made a Hurricane which had the thinner spokes, and the Hurricane II which had a thicker (and fewer) spokes.

There were several manufacturers that made copies, but Western was the "name" brand.

Hurricane-

About the "hurricane" pictured above, I always called that style "turbines". Maybe that name was started by a different company? And of course we can't talk about 70's wheels without mentioning "slots"

Always good to have one around. Those wheels were the stuff back when. Hate to hear you can't buy them anymore. If you absolutely had to have them, you could try to find a "General Lee" forum. They're getting the wheels somewhere. It might help you find some with the correct bolt pattern and width.
