Hello from a new member
Hey all. I'm new here. Looks like you've got a great board going! Right now I've got a 2WD 1994 Dodge Ram. After a rough winter up here in the northeast, I decided that it's time for a 4x4. I'm looking at 69-72 Blazers. I want to know a lot more than I do now before I buy one. I've been doing searches and reading old posts, but please excuse me if I ask a bunch of questions in the coming weeks and months that are pretty standard knowledge. I don't know much about Chevys and even less about 69-72 Blazers. Thanks!

Let me be the first to welcome you from B.C. Canada, love those blazers! I used to own 2 72 Jimmy's (same as a blazer, except grill and lettering) You will find this board a wealth of information, I guarantee ! Good luck on finding your blazer.

Welcome and some advice from another New Englander.
Don't buy any old 4x4 that is a "native" truck. You'll be taking on a major project. Unless you are skilled, patient, or extremely lucky you'll end up with a higher end cost than locating and getting shipped here a rust-free original or restored Blazer. If you do get a nice one, don't drive it on our roads in the winter. It won't be nice long. Better to buy a late model used 4x4 for that purpose. Check out Carlisle PA All Truck Nationals this June, you'll find what you're looking for there. Oh if you're not stuck on a Blazer, this truck looks like a nice one and it's not on the left coast.
