Another lowering question
I have looked at a ton of pics, a ton of threads and still have a question. I have an '87 GMC. I have a pair of 2.5" drop HD spindles, a pair of 1" Bell Tech drop springs and have "fabricated" a flip kit bracket (remember I have a '96 rearend under my truck w/ some random brackets). Is the frontend gonna sit to high? I don't want to be looking at the moon when I drive it.

Re: Another lowering question
it might be a hit and miss, it took me 5 times to get the stance just right on my truck, first time it looked like a motor boat at full speed

Re: Another lowering question
You can always cut 1/2 to 1 coil off if it is. I have 3" spindles, 1" drop coils with 1/2 coil removed. I have a flip kit with drop shackles in the rear...and the front is still slightly lower than the back.
Tire size will makle a diff like Ken eluded to.

Re: Another lowering question
Tire sizes are 255/45r18 front and 295/40r18 rear on Boss 338's...18x8 and 18x9.5. So 28.4" in the front and 28.6" in the rear .
