Chrome emblems?

Is there any way to get metal emblems for the fender, fuel injection and the rear "chevrolet" on the tailgate? Or other brushed plastic pieces for that matter The side fender emblems need to be replaced, but the other two are in great shape. I'm havind the 3 piece cab, and the tailgate moulding chromed and would like to do the rest at the same time so it all matches up. Other than plastic-spray on-vacuum-whatever they call it-chroming the original, or giving up an arm for a cnc'd piece do I have any other options? I don't like the brushed look, and don't really want to just polish up the originals. Ideas?

These guys claim they can do what you want. I don't suppose it's cheap.

Re: Chrome emblems?

The problem is I don't want a chrome like finish. I want a chrome finish, and matching with the other pieces to be done. A local comedian said he could do it on his CNC for $1200. He was pretty funny.

There is an outfit that they have used on the spike power block shows that actually do chrome over plastic. They do something to make the plastic conductive and then plate it. You might do a search on the "Power Block" shows on Spike TV. If I think of the name I'll post it.
