Re: Anyone used these?
Only question is how long will they last before they rust out?

Re: Anyone used these?
i installed them. i stripped them down and repainted them with high heat paint. I haven't run them yet, but they came out nice. don't know if the paint will stick once they heat up, but they look good now.

Re: Anyone used these?
If you will look closely at them down by the collector, you will see a Dynomax part number.

Re: Anyone used these?
Get the ceramic coating. I have had it on my Dynomax headers for 15 years with no problems at all. Paint will burn off and then they will rust.

Re: Anyone used these?
I got the same ones branded as Dynomax. They work well and improve power, yes. The paint, again as stated above, will heat, chip and fall off. Mine haven't rusted yet. For $80 you can't argue. I think I had to put a slight dent in one of the pipes to route it a little bit smoother over one of my frame rails but thats it.
...oh and the AC compressor needed to leave the bay. |

Re: Anyone used these?
I just installed a set of the same headers last night with the ceramic coating and they fit and look great Was also an easy install for my first doing headers.
Well worth the $187 compared to others. |

Re: Anyone used these?
They say the thicker the flange the better because of less chance of warpage but if the bolts are kept tight they will not warp. I check mine about evey 30 days and they do get loose. I took the same Summit headers (rusty) off and they were on there for years with no problem. The rust is why I went with the ceramic coated this time.
