HI, Pardon my lack of knowledge but where do these go exactly. Do you have a pic of one installed.. I am restoring a 72 GMC Jimmy 4x4 and there were no trim peices at all on it so I am trying to piece the puzzle together on where things need to go.. I understand there is also a chrome strip that runs along the bed side that holds some kind of interior boards but I am not sure what it is called...? Thanks in advance... |

Re: Blazer Jimmy original rear carpet strips
k5kev, pm sent
amcgeh01, We're all here to learn. Here is a picture of a blazer with the rear carpet retainer installed, also a picture of the rear cargo side panel retainers, which usually only came on Blazer CST & Jimmy Custom optioned trucks. I have a few pair of the side cargo retainers in the same condition as the carpet retainers, also $35 pr + shipping. |

Re: Blazer Jimmy original rear carpet strips
k5kev, Sent your carpet strip Fedex ground yesterday, thanks.
amcgeh01, PM sent, also did you need the stand-offs and L brackets to attach the panels? I have repros of those in galvanized metal for $35 @12pc set. Picture added. D.Passmore, I've seen these (rear strips) used in front and rear, but I believe the original one (front at the floor off-set) was an L shaped one. The rear strip has a lip that also holds the rubber tailgate bottom gasket. I'll post some pics. |
