Can the Chevy motored Dodge write in too? I like update threads like this.

Unlike some forums, everyone is welcome here. We "prefer" pics and conversation about 73-87 GM trucks but like anything that might be considered a hot rod.

Re: What did you get done? (8-16-09)

Pics are always in my signature. I started hanging around in the 73-87 section as that is the era of the dodge i am playing with. Started as a small block into my '85 Ram, now has the mock up for a 454--maybe bigger if i can gather the funds.

But this weekend we only did a little work on our 1920 Model T pickup. We have owned it about 4 years and it hasn't ran pretty much since then. We sent parts out to get redone and life got in the way, but trying to button up the ignition/electrical system to get it going again.

Pic of when we bought it....

Re: What did you get done? (8-16-09)

I went on a little trip and returned home this weekend . I am jealous of the guys that live in New Mexico and Colorado . I spotted quite a few square bodies on my trip . I like scenery so I talked the family into letting me drive us to our destination . We covered a LOT . Paloduro Canyon , Durango , Colorado for 3-4 days including one day to Silverton , Mesa Verde , 4 corners, Carlsbad Caverns , then through West Tx and back home . So many sights and the views in Colorado are enough to make you want to stay . I put 2510 miles on the Crewcab and was comfortable the whole way . Newer trucks are just better drivers . The only problem i had is that I couldnt stop in Vernon, Tx last Sat (aug 8) . There were all types of vehicles coming in from everywhere . Some quality vehicles but I was on a schedule that day .

Re: What did you get done? (8-16-09)

Colorado offers soooooo many different types of scenery too. Love it here, wouldn't move unless it was for the Black Hills of South Dakota. That's why I bought land up there!

I went to most of the places you went to, and I also saw a few square bodies and several Chevy c-50 and c-60
