VALUE of a parts rig?
Okay - so i plan on buying a pretty complete parts truck in the future... I will obviously use it for parts, but i am curious as to what (if any) i could gain back if i parted it out.
I know that condition and the area will effect value. Also what are the most valuable parts in an avg optioned vehicle? Weird q i know, but it helps me find out what i should pay , etc. Thanks

Re: VALUE of a parts rig?
$50-$500 normal price range for me depending on what's usable and sellable
b4 purchasing a parts truck// ID what parts do you need off the truck and what is the cost to just buy them, what parts can you sell off this truck, what is your storage plan lomg or short term will there b problems of neighbors calling cops code enforcement?, what is the plan to get rid of the useless unsellable junk//keep in mind the larger the item the more difficult to store, ship and move easily which quickly devalues it for me i normally bring a parts vehicle home by thursday and try to have it done and disappeared by monday

Re: VALUE of a parts rig?
oh lol. i live in the country, id stash it in the barn. so nothing like code enforcement or whatever. i dont think i could live in a place that has that drama... id be in constant trouble lol.
i need grille, pass fender and inner fenderwell, blower motor, door panels, maybe a drivers door if its nice, misc interior parts. so id have everything else to either save for future project or re-sell.

Re: VALUE of a parts rig?
I had a guy offer me a truck he bought to pull the engine from and is otherwise complete. He wanted $350 and is supposed to send pictures before I can judge if it`s worth it to me.
