Is it just me or does it look like a 4x4. It seems like it sits high and has lock outs in the front wheels.

Im not up on Blazers...If it was a 2x4 would it have K5 on the side?

I so would like to have a 2WD 6 cyl, 3speed on tree blazer. Be better with back seat delete. Radion delete. But I think that one sits a little high and does look like lockouts on front. I have to wait to get this project done!

Looks 2wd to me. No leaf springs in the front. Also the '70 2wd's were 6-lug.

Definitely a 2wd.
You can see the a-arms up front. That's about how high my 2wd blazer sat when I first got it. The '70 model also has the lowest production numbers.

i talked to the dude and sounds like a dick. i asked him if he could send me pics of the rust, and said he could'nt do it and it was his brothers camera. he wants $1500 obo. i was a potential buyer but not anymore.

what I find funny is 2 things...
1. I see that all the time where sellers won't take time to explain or document the issues with the truck - even those they can gather upon visual inspection - like has rust in the following places....blah blah blah. 2. That a guy from WA is looking at a truck in OH - I was doing the same thing a few years back (except I was looking in WA) and everybody thought I was nuts - until I bought one and had it shipped here - must have not wanted to sell it bad enough is what I think. If you are really interested - find a member from Cincinnati to go check it out for you. I am almost 4 hours away or I would assist you with an inspection. |
