Reciever hitch
Can I use a reciever hitch from an 86 suburban on a 70s-80s truck?

It should work I took one off an 88 F-150 and made it work on my 86 silverado by drillin out the front mounting holes

Ity wont work. Burb/ Blazer frames bend down at the rear, so the hitch is built to compensate for that, truck frames are straight, so you need a truck hitch for a truck and a burb/blazer hitch for a burb/blazer.

the burb frame is also wider.. years back i bought one from a guy on here right off the burb he was parting and when i got it home to my truck it was way too wide
