Re: who has posi?
I run regular gear oil and GM "limited slip axle lubricant additive", part #1052358.

Re: who has posi?
You need to give a lot more information to get an accurate answer to a question like that. What engine/trans/gear ratio? 2wd or 4WD? Coils or leafs?
If you're running a stock engine on a 2WD with coils, I suspect you'll fine your stock suspension does a pretty good job of letting you hook up with the posi. |

Re: who has posi?
You are only going to have a chance of axle wrap with a leaf rear end. The coil one won't budge. There was a guy on Pass Time running in the 9's with the 2 link setup. The main thing you will need is a video camera so you can post your burnout. It is required or you will be banned! lol

Re: who has posi?
You shouldn't need anything unless you intend to race the truck. Then the standard mods to help it hook up apply. If it is a coil spring truck there isn't much if anything left to do. A leaf spring truck may need some sort of traction bar setup if you get wheel hop on launch but that would take some serious horsepower in most cases.

wasn't that 'djracer'? I saw that episode too, that truck left so hard it scared the host of the show when he took off!

Re: who has posi?
My k2500 has posi with those leafs.Although they are stiffer than 1/2t (if that`s what you have) i don`t have any wheel hop or notice axle wrap if there is any.I run 12.50/33s and chirp them when I hit 2nd hard.I don`t do burnouts with it.It will chirp pulling off hard, though.I`m prolly right about at 275 horses.
