another air ride question(s)

I have search forums and can't seem to come up with many answers to figure out what or who to go through. I have a 70 swb that I would love to put air ride on. I am going to put a 77 front end underneath it. I don't want to be chopping frame or anything that drastic for now. I'm not expecting it to lay frame either (but looks pretty sweet though). I am looking for a complete kit or gather parts from different dealers if needed. I want a quality job and know not to cheap out on this. I am looking to do the front 2.5 spindles in front w/ 4 wheel disc. Where do I start shopping? I have found to go with a 8 valve and use a manifold for better handling. I know this is a repeat forum but like I said I'm not finding answers. Thanks for the help everybody.

Re: another air ride question(s)

These trucks require all the same stuff as the static dropped trucks. Rear shock relocators, c-notch, dropped shocks, an adjustable track bar, spindles, etc.
A 2600 # bag simply replaces the spring. That's about it.

You had also mentioned 4 wheel disc brakes. This requires a different M/C and porportioning valve.
I'll see if I can find some better info.

Re: another air ride question(s)

checking out suicide doors kits, any recommendations? They have lots of great stuff but now what kit to choose from. 8 valve seems to be a must for ride control, 3/8" valves with 1/4" line...? (is that right?) 8gal tank (is that large enough? which bags slam re or airlift dominator? Or I'm looking at the Air Management kit #2 3/8".

Re: another air ride question(s)

8gal tank is huge for what you want to do unless you want to be playing with it every 15 seconds or so. 5gal will be more than enough for just driving and I'd recommend 2 compressors for quick fill and less wear and tear on them. I also found from an unscientific survey I did awhile back, that most dont need over 150psi. Just some info to consider.
