does anyone have one of these in their truck? i saw this in a magazine today and i am dying to buy it but i am leary of the quality of the workmanship and the look...with lighting and all. thanks

I've seen those also. I not a big fan of aftermarket gauges but those caught my eye when I saw them, they look pretty cool.

i just tried to order them, figured heck i will be a guinea pig.....but the classic website was pretty difficult to manuver i had to enter my email and register i am waiting on a confirmation email just so i can order the darn thing...

ditto! I was wondering the other day why nobody had done this because there is such a big customer base that it seemed logical. Very cool indeed!

I looked at these at Good Guys Columbus.
The photos do not do them any justice.
I will post some pictures of the front and back for those interested.
I spent some time speaking with the folks from Classic and I am convinced this would be a good way to go
If my memory serves me these come fully wired as seen in the photo and all of the plugs mate to the factory plugs so if you are replacing an old tach dash this can be a plug and play operation.

These guages do look good....possibly at the show you might get a discount of some sort. There are not many aftermarket guages that I like but these I do!

They've been around awhile and I've seen the Grey gauges installed in a Blazer.......very nice looking gauges.

Spendy too if I remember.....$700 or so?

I went with this set-up. I had to fab it all up myself, not a package deal. I debated for months before buying and then they come out with the premade dash, oh well I wanted the less is more look. It gives me an all at once look at the gages thru the wheel. Very happy with them so far, finally have an accurate speedo and fuel gage. They are not cheap but the quality is there. Buy USA. Also installed a trans temp gage in a cup mount on the BM megashifter console.

Im wondering how do you get around the speedo issue though. The pics show wires, that I assume, go to the connectors in the other pic. Atomic how does your's work?

Well that just made my mind up. I was going to go with Classic Instruments and build my own cluster using an aftermarket bezel. I think I will probably go this route now. Looks a little cleaner than what I could do.

i saw these at the hot rod nationals in louisville and they look awesome if i ever get the rest of my truck to look as good as these i will be buying one but right now it would look extremely out of place to nice fore my truck

i guess it costs.... (a lot) to be the boss. i think i'll go with the 5" autometer setup. about $200 less and just as cool.

If you buy a gage kit the sender comes with it. The sender goes in where your cable went and converts mechanical signal to electric.
