Hey Abels. Welcome from Searcy, Arkansas. Good looking ride there.
Kosciusko? Hmmm, I've been through there a few times over the years. But it's all a blur now.

Re: New guy
I'm also a new guy to the boards and to truck restoration. I purchased a 72 Chevy Longhorn this summer (will add a photo soon). The bottom of the doors and rockers are pretty well shot, but the rest of the vehicle is pretty good especially for a WI vehicle. Do you guys think I would be better off just getting new doors all together or buying the door bottoms from Classic Parts and repairing what I have?

I was just happy to find out that almost everything is available for the Longhorns. About the only thing I couldn't find a bushing set for the rear leaf springs. I just gave up and drove it with dry rot. Good luck on your ride! |

Re: New guy
Thanks they turned great, I just got a little over eager with the grinder while smoothing the burrs off so when you get close you can see some scratches hanging down from the bowties.
