Some drawings of my next project
hey guys, well i get bored in my Government class so i drew some pictures of what im wanting to do next. im going to make a swb to a convertable and weld the bed to the cab like a blazer. then im going to find a set of step side finders and weld them to the bedside. then get the widest tires i can fit on them. then bag it to the ground. so its going to be a truck/blazer/one wheel dually. all i need to do is find the right truck with the right potential.
what u guys think?

I think you need to take an art class, and stay awake in English class. It's spelled ...Chevrolet

OR how about getting a shortbed doing the removeable hardtop (seen it done before) not weld it together do your dually thing and slam it and call it good . And is that a snorkel dargster intake you drew on there? I guess I should post my getto dually dream tuck before I knock yours. Notice the genuine tire folding and distortion from hauling @&& laying down thick stips of mickey thompson rubber the "mean stubby stacks dual whips Billet grill CHEVY window tint strip semi aluminum gas tanks the sport bumper sport mirrors big ol' crome rear fenders and to top it all off the tiny dimond plate flat bed between the two big meats" lol Wow my drawings really go to hell when I go over them with sharpie . Re: Some drawings of my next project
Did you ever finish your last project?
I hope you don't butcher another truck up, but if you decide to make sure you post plenty of pictures. At the very least it will be entertaining.

Re: Some drawings of my next project
You would be way better off finding a blazer as Eagle suggested to do this to as a truck cab is on rubber mounts and the box is bolted directly to the frame so they flex different.Even if you mounted the box on rubber mounts it would still take a huge amount of reinforcing so that the it doesnt rip apart within a short amount of time

Re: Some drawings of my next project
texasfunk, that's some good looking artwork! You should do some non-colored drawings and post them up for people to print out and try color ideas on. Back when I frequented a Nova board, a member there drew up some Nova and Chevelle pics and put them in a thread. Everyone printed them out and colored their own paint ideas and posted them back to the thread. It might be fun to do something like that here if you're interested in getting it started (mine's a crew cab long bed, in case your drawing hand gets itchy )
